Walt can’t help being drawn in as the strange ballet continues, the two young men popping up from the ground simultaneously as they continue to dress. But now Walt starts to see a difference between them. The blond dresses frantically, pulling on a shirt that might be inside out, eyes wild with panic. The dark-haired one moves quickly but languidly, Cheshire-cat grin plastered to his face, like the whole dire situation amuses him. And in the exact moment that both young men turn to face him, Walt realizes he knows them.
“Pinkman?” he says, shocked. “And Dupree?”
Jesse Pinkman meets Marion Alan Dupree, the version of himself from the original Breaking Bad pilot script. At first Jesse can't get away from Dupree, but as he gets more comfortable with his alternate universe self following him everywhere, Dupree starts to hint that there are some things Jesse will have to do alone.
