    Summary

Sanemi turned fully to look at him, eyes intense and angry, their faces inches apart as Sanemi gripped the edge of Giyuu’s uniform.

“This isn’t going to work if you’re going to have an attitude all day, y’know. Are you even listening? I need to know you’ve got my back. If you get me killed, I’m going to be pissed.” He released Giyuu, who blinked at him in surprise.

“What would you like me to say?” He managed.

Sanemi scoffed. “I don’t know, you could start with a yes? No? Maybe?” He paused and gauged Giyuu’s non-reaction. “Or maybe a who’s Sabito?” Giyuu stared at him until Sanemi finally rolled his eyes and turned away. “Whatever. You can’t dodge the question forever.”

While sparring, Giyuu accidentally calls Sanemi by Sabito's name, and Sanemi won't let it go. Though he insists to himself it was a meaningless accident, while assigned to a mission together, memories Giyuu would rather forget stir to the surface, and he realizes the comparisons might go deeper than he thought.

    Summary

Purple eyes pierced Pure Vanilla’s very being.

His heart hammered at the enraged man before him. His dark complexion, his dark hair down to his shoulders, the dark sky and sea. Pure Vanilla’s staff had to slowly adjust to take in the hardened lines, square jaw, broad yet sharp nose, the rise and fall of broad shoulders due to ragged breaths, the twitch of his brows. A thick white streak came loose and trickled down his face.

His eyes combed over Pure Vanilla as well. A brief calm, possibly hesitation, crossed his face.

    Summary

Wildberry's near-death experience in Beast Yeast caused his feelings to be put on full blast. Especially when he reflected upon the words of the Cupid-like cookie. He found, even after two weeks, that it felt impossible to write a letter to Crunchy Chip. He longed to confess his love, but what if the love went unrequited? What if the Wolf Captain were to cut him off for his foolish crush?

His fears were holding him back, but with some encouragement from those close to him, will he pick up the quill and pour his heart out? Or will he be blunt, stating directly what he feels? Will he push past his fears to reach that future, long after the approaching war, where he and Crunchy Chip can be together? Only Wildberry knows what his heart truly yearns for and how to make a way to it. It all starts with writing the letter before an upcoming reunion.

    Summary

The memorial stone should be a place to mourn the dead.

To Umino Iruka, it's a place to speak to his parents, and the mysterious ANBU who listens.

Follows Iruka from ages 10 to 26, and the many ways Kakashi changes his life.

(This is the same story line as Unspoken, but from Iruka's POV. The two stories can be read completely separately and understanding of one does not hinge on the other, but I do recommend reading both if you feel so inclined.)
