It stops Shane in his tracks. His surety falters, suddenly off kilter. He knew how to read Rosanov well enough by now. He’d been eager, wanting, and now he's... distressed?
"Hollander," Ilya says, sounding concerned.
"What?" Shane asks anxiously.
There's a drip. A spatter of something on Ilya's chest that draws Shane's eyes instantly.
It's a big red drop of blood.
Blood. Blood? He looks at it, then up at Ilya, who's still staring so concerned, sitting up a bit now.
"Hollander," he says again, more worried this time. "Your nose."

Shane gets a nosebleed during one of their hook-ups. It may or may not be due to how turned on he is.
