    "Looking at me like I'm a victim," Felicity said. "I'm fine."

    "I should have known he would try something. He said he was interested, but I thought he was harmless."

    "He was harmless," she said. "I took him out and I have zero upper body strength."

    "He could have hurt you," Oliver held.

    "Yes, he could have," Felicity relented. She remembered how strong he seemed in the moment and how for just a moment, she'd thought of what would have happened if she hadn't remembered how to defend herself. "But he didn't. He didn't, Oliver."

    His hand curled around her ankle and she wiggled her foot, making him smile slightly.

    "Well, you should try to get some sleep," Oliver said. "You have a big day ahead of you tomorrow."

    "I do?" she asked, watching him stand up.

    "Your first Beer Olympics hangover. It's a bitch."

    She frowned. "I didn't think of that."

    "I'll see you on the other side. I'll have coffee and hash browns," he said, pulling the blanket up to her shoulders. He hovered above her for a moment before leaning down and pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. "Good night, Felicity."

    She was too stunned to respond, and it was only when he'd walked back to his bedroom, the door shutting with a soft click, that she murmured, "Good night, Oliver."

    "You might want to slow down. Remember that hangover you had after the Beer Olympics? I won't be there in the morning to make you banana toast and coffee."

    "Banana toast," she sighed nostalgically, tilting her head to the side. "You should just be there every morning I wake up to make me banana toast."

    He blinked rapidly at her words, and knowing that she wouldn't remember this in the morning, he smiled softly and said, "Yeah. That would be nice."

    She returned his grin, and Oliver thought to himself that somehow, over the past few weeks, her smile had become one of his favorite things. In fact, there were a lot of things about her he'd come to like. He liked the way she hogged the popcorn when they all watched TV together, and how she sang along to commercial jingles. He liked that she drank her coffee black and only caved when the holiday creamers came out. He liked that she was fiercely loyal to Tommy, but still didn't put up with any of his crap. He liked her, period. Felicity Smoak, and all the little oddities that made her unlike anyone else he'd ever known.

    When she opened the door she was surprised to see Oliver standing there with a Tupperware in his hands.

    "Oliver? What are you doing here? Did Tommy accidentally pick up a hooker again?"

    Oliver chuckled. "You know, that never actually happened."

    "I know. It just seems like something that should have by now. What's in the Tupperware?"

    When Ra's al Ghul pushed Tim Drake out of a window after he foiled his plots again, he did something and the vigilante disappeared. Six months later, and through a completely unrelated summoning to an alternate dimension's Sun God, Tim reappeared both five years older and part of the crew of the King of Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy.

    Now stuck in his home dimension for a month until they can be sent back home, due to bullshit magic reasons, Tim has to face the Batfamily that he had left behind, reckon with a couple of old ghosts, and deal with Bruce Wayne's ever-increasing paranoia in the wake of his disappearance. Luckily, Tim is older, theoretically wiser, and knows that his crew has his back.

    (And, in flashbacks, Tim grows into the pirate he is today: the Shadow of the King.)

    Tim continues on his way, past Bruce before B lightly grabs his arm.

    Tilting their heads in sync making some others at the table shiver, "Red Robin. Is something wrong?"

    Which at least calms down Superman and the other league members who looked like they were being attacked at their homebase by a hero they didn't recognize.

    Barry just looks on curiously.

    Nobody noticed his own head tilting in sync after all.

    "No, it's fine, B. I just know Flash is busy this week and I needed to ask him something, but he missed Sunday dinner. I figured he'd race off right after the meeting and your closing summaries are boring anyway," he shrugs as Oliver and Hal flinch back a little at someone dissing Batman so casually to his face.

    Bruce's lips twitch amused and Flash doesn't bother holding back a grin.

    "And you couldn't wait until next Sunday dinner? Or even better- ask anyone else in the family?" Some people look over at him with squinty eyes and the implications they are getting about the Flash's supposed connection to the Batclan.

    Barry's inner Dick Grayson is cackling.

    But! After extensive research and much 'urging' from Alfred about how it's 'unhealthy' not to have any 'friends'. Bruce has allowed himself to open up a little bit. Just a little.

    "Yeah and then Harvey became Two Face and betrayed me, which is kind of ironic because then Harleen- my friend from college -got brainwashed and manipulated into being The Joker's right hand woman, and then Jonathan- another college friend, we were in a club actually -became Scarecrow and that's around the time I decided I was glad that I dropped out and decided that college wasn't for me." Bruce shared earnestly.

    He really thinks he's winning at this friendship thing, Bruce thinks smugly to himself. He's going to get an A+ in friendship: a totally normal thing to want and a possible thing to achieve.

    Barry looks at him with a face he can't quite decipher before opening his mouth slowly, and then is immediately interrupted by Kid Flash speeding up to them with Robin on his back.

    The Flash slumps in relief for some reason.

    “Usually you have a plan by now- are you okay?”

    Everyone falls into silence to witness the reaction.

    Bruce blinks again, “I’ll be honest, F,” a few look shocked at the familiarity, “According to Queen’s wrinkles we’re currently in the future,” an offended ‘hey’ barely phases him, “And I think it’s more of a time switch thing then a deaging thing, mostly because I am just… super high right now. Like super high. And usually deaging would like uh, burn that up? Or something I forgot the word… words. Whatever. Anyways, I’m going to sit down,” he pushes his cape back to carefully sit on the ground crisscross like a child before looking up at Barry again who's looking at him unimpressed with his hand on his hip.

    Giving him a smile and a thumbs up, “I believe in you, F!”

    Everyone but Barry stares at him for some reason in disbelief or something- not that he cares. Barry is in charge and he’s sick and that means he doesn’t have to worry about it cause Barry will protect him.

    Barry just looks at the ceiling and mumbles to himself something that makes Superman take a step back and Bruce snicker to himself.
