“Midoriya was— he was so much calmer when you were with him last night,” Iida continues in a more controlled tone. When he was using me as a teething toy, Aizawa fills in. “All of us were. I— I know it’s highly irregular! But I believe I speak for all of us when I say that you’re—” Iida hesitates. “...You’re… pack.”
And that’s the kicker here, isn’t it? It’s highly irregular for a teacher to stay with a student through a presentation, or a rut or a heat, but for a pack member— for a pack member, that’s not just normal. That’s expected. Especially an older, more experienced pack member, long since presented, comfortable and in control of their body.
Usually, that role would be filled by family or older friends. Siblings, parents, trusted senpais. But 1-A— they’re stuck with Aizawa.
Midoriya presents as an alpha. Aizawa laments that no one in his problem class is capable of doing anything normally. Or, Aizawa accepts his role as the leader and pseudo-parent of a pack of teenage idiots.

He felt ... .so hot. When Atsushi breathed, his throat felt raspy like he needed to cough. Sweat seemed to drip down his forehead and be slick to his white hair. Raining down his face. Atsushi feels long, slender hands gently lift off the blanket covering him. Dazai was never one for sentimentals. Maybe a smile or pat on the shoulder, or a word of encouragement, but it was….nice, though unusual, for him to be so kind. Gentle.
“Da…zai-san,” Atsushi slowly mumbles out, voice croaky and Atsushi instantly coughs. It hurts, his throat feeling so dry. His lips were thirsty, and after his coughing fit, Atsushi licks them wet.
“Sh,” Dazai says, his bandaged hand brushing against his forehead, pushing back Atsushi’s white bangs. “Ah, Atsushi-kun…you’re burning up. How long have you had a fever?”
Atsushi blinks at his blurry figure, “I have…a fe..ver?”
OR, atsushi and dazai taking care of each other

On this particular day at the Armed Detective Agency, Atsushi is more stressed out than usual. Not only does the normally comforting building seem way too crowded, but Atsushi's desire for flesh is stronger than ever before. He feels overwhelmed, so Atsushi copes in the unsavery way he did as a child. Atsushi has been told multiple times that it is a repulsive mannerism; sadly, it is also an unconscious one. Unfortunately for Atsushi, that gross habit of his goes a little too far.

Atsushi blinks. “Why won't I trust you? You've always been so kind to me and every good thing in my life happened because I met you.”
Dazai stiffens; his smile frozen in place with eyes slightly widening. He peers at Atsushi’s face, searching for something—maybe any sign of deceit or gag; so the boy looks back at him with as much sincerity he can muster. Dazai drops his expression, replacing it with a brisk sigh that sounds more like a huff.
“Most people wouldn't consider being targeted by the mafia, or an international conglomerate, good things,” says Dazai, his face turning vacant, “unless…you've got questionable tastes…”
Or, Atsushi and Dazai share a tranquil moment in a thunderous atmosphere then everything goes chaotic for Atsushi when Dazai gets kidnapped. Willingly, of course.
