Jacob would be lying if he said he didn’t like kissing him. He liked how easy Sam was during reshoots, how Sam fixed his hair, ran his fingers over his jaw so, so gently, how he didn’t flinch when Jacob went in to deepen the kiss between them.
“It’ll look better, that way,” Jacob stuttered once, breathlessly, flushed after they parted, as though he owed him an explanation for the minute and a half long kiss they’d just filmed, and Sam just smiled and leaned in to peck his bottom lip.
“Feels better too,” Sam whispered, and then they both broke into a fit of laughed and fell into each other, onto each other, and held each other in that closed set as though no one else existed in the world. And for a moment, they didn’t.

Summary
Fear is a universal experience - whether it's a fear of heights, death, or something seemingly insignificant. Most people encounter fear for the first time as children, and as they grow, their fears evolve alongside them. But not everyone follows this path.
Some grow up believing they're untouchable, tougher than the world around them. The absence of fear mutates into a dangerous indifference - a disregard for consequences. They seek thrills in rebellion: stealing for the rush, dismissing those they deem beneath them, blind to privilege and responsibility alike.
Yet these individuals aren't inherently evil. They may seem that way at first, but appearances deceive.
What they truly need is something to care about - something so precious it makes them fear the day they might lose it.

Sam barely stirs, eyes still shut.
“Hm?”
Jacob nudges his shoulder. “Focus up.”
Sam blinks slowly into the low light when Jacob suddenly shoves his phone directly into his face, brightness at max, nearly blinding him.
“You’re trending.”
OR: Sam finds out about the omegaverse and, as a result, ends up trending. Jacob has a few questions…
