After all, when she mysteriously falls from the sky, she ends up landing on a dragon, and of course, on its rider.
He ends up becoming completely infatuated with her (let's say obsessed)He was captivated by she the moment your eyes met. He believes she is a gift from the gods to him, and that she is his now, and so he takes her with him to Stepstone (basically kidnapping her).
It was her fault, because the first stupid thing that came out of her mouth, and to avoid death at his hands, was to say that she was a gift. That backfired on her.
Well... she made her bed, and now she would have to lie down in it.
And maybe it's not so bad after all.

Vesper coughed up a little bit of seawater. She had the worst dream. Her damp clothes clung to her body, and she shivered as a small breeze blew past. Wait a minute. Her eyes flew open in panic. She was surrounded by a group of five people who looked both familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. “W-where am I?” she asked.
A raven-haired boy, wearing a red vest and a straw hat, laughed. “Shishishi! You're on my pirate ship! I'm Monkey D. Luffy, and I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!”
Vesper let out a laugh of disbelief. “I must be in a coma. Or I've gone insane. Either way, this can't be real.”
TLDR: A One Piece fan gets thrown into the sea (literally), and quickly comes face to face with a familiar crew. What happens next?

You looked godly like this, the moon swallowing you in its glow, your eyes glowing with that look that has Shanks wondering if he was a pious man and if you needed someone to worship you.
"A thief," You rasp, and your tail slaps the deck behind you, your grin growing, pride burning in your irises when Shanks meets your eyes, "A good one."
Fuck. Shanks' hand twitches again. You weren't wrong because Shanks is pretty sure you've already stolen his heart, and it's not even been a gods damned week.
