   Summary

   A sharp, insistent ringing shatters the silence. Steve hesitates but picks up. On the other end of the line, a voice he knows all too well: "The white vans... They're coming for the girl."

   Then, an apparition. Robin. Frozen in the shadows, her gaze burning with an urgency Steve can’t ignore.

   The voices; he's learned to push them away. The apparitions; he's pretended not to see them. But this time, something is different. More real. More urgent.
