Chewing a hole into her cheek, she shakes her head. “I’m sorry! It’s so stupid, but I’m a-a, I’ve never, and I need to know!”
Eddie’s still looking at her like she’s just escaped Pennhurst and damn Heather this was a mistake. She’ll just go rent Endless Love and hope for the best.
Chrissy make to leave when she feels a warm hand on her arm. “Whoa. Cool your jets. I didn’t give you an answer yet.”
Slumping back on the stool, Chrissy tries again. “I’m just super nervous. It was dumb of me to ask you of all people to,” she leans closer to whisper, “have sex with me.”
She must be drunker than she originally imagined because Eddie’s cheeks look flushed. “Okay.”
