    When Shane and Ilya were together, the white wolf was there, showering Aiko with attention while Ilya did incredible things to Shane’s body. Even Ilya’s worst stumbles with the English language sounded brilliant with Ksenia sitting regally at his side, daring anyone to say a word against her person.

    Shane did not realize how much of his bravado was wrapped up in this image until that white wolf was gone.
