Summary
“Hey, Maddie,” he says, hooking a clip into the bandage. “So I fell into a ravine. Chasing a water bottle. I'm fine, Theo’s fine, but we're stuck. I asked for a chopper.”
“Yeah, Naomi has one on the way,” Maddie says, sniffling. “God, you can't keep scaring me.”
“They're still a little ways out, they're going to be coming from the southern part of the city,” Naomi cuts in.
Buck fumbles the other clip. “Is it—”
“Yep,” Maddie says.
“Please tell me it's not—”
“Oh, it is.”

Summary
Suddenly, a man was up in his face. ”Can I hug you?”
”Uh, sure,” Buck said.
The guy nearly knocked him off his feet. As Buck wrapped his arms around him, he hissed, ”Be my boyfriend.”
”What?”
”Guy behind me won't take a hint.”
”Hi, baby,” Buck said loudly. ”I couldn't find you! Have you been here long?”

Summary
“It’s weird,” Harry said.
May turned to look at him from her spot on their mom’s couch and took the offered bowl of popcorn.
“What is?”
“Just, the 118. Like, okay, that first week when Chim was putting more bubble wrap around me than even mom, I didn’t really notice it. Buck kept trying to include me in stuff and show me things and I just didn’t realize that no one else was actually helping him with those things. Or even…well, paying attention to him. And Chim…he’s like constantly making comments about Buck.”
-
Or, Harry joins the 118 and it is very aparent that things are a little weird with Buck.

Summary
“Wait,” Buck says, reaching into his pockets.
Ravi perks up beside him, looking over to see what he’s doing.
“Ah hah!” Buck says, pulling out… his keys?
“I don’t think your keys unlock these kinds of doors,” Ravi says, unhelpfully.
“No, no, I— when Tommy and I were together… I gave him a gift for—for our six months. It’s a long-distance key chain.”
“A what?”
“You each have one, and if you press it, it lights up the other person’s to let them know you’re thinking of them, or like, in trouble, or, you know, stuck in an elevator. It has location tracking and everything,” Buck explains.
(Or, Buck and Ravi get stuck in an elevator, talk about their lives, and hope a certain firefighter-pilot shows up to save them)
