Summary
With their parents captured and awaiting execution, 17-year-old Xaden Riorson made the best deal he could to protect the other children of the apostasy. Gemma Tavis—Garrick’s younger sister—knows that; she’s never doubted her best friend and she’s not about to start now. But she also doesn’t doubt that General Sorrengail agreed to send them to the riders quadrant in hopes that most of them will die.
Similar to Violet Sorrengail, Gemma was born with a condition that causes joint instability, constant pain, and debilitating fatigue; she knows she won’t make it in the riders quadrant. Xaden, however, isn’t ready to lose anyone else—especially not one of his best friends—so when they’re fostered near one another, he decides to help her train and refuses to give up.
She still isn’t confident in her chances, not with how many other cadets will be trying to kill her and the other marked ones. But she’s going to spend every minute she has left helping Xaden as he leads and protects the marked ones while also fighting for what’s left of Aretia.

A Hunger Games AU where the mining accident that killed Mr. Everdeen was planned in order to get rid of him and several others who were aiding the rebellion, and where Katniss and Prim have an older sister who's been trained for the Games her whole life. This series will explore Sage Everdeen’s life as a tribute during the 73rd Hunger Games and the timeline of the three original books.

Most days, somewhere between 7 and 8 in the morning, Steve Rogers can be found at the Lucky Bean Cafe. The little storefront is in a small upstate town, on a small upstate street, about a morning’s run away from the Avengers Compound. It’s the local favorite, and the only time it can be found nearly empty is right after it opens. Y/N, the owner, flips the sign on the front door from ‘Sorry, We’re Closed’ to ‘Come on in! We’re Open’ and within a few moments, a certain Captain runs up. Finishing tying her apron, she flashes the tall man a bright smile.
