For over a year and some change, the Nest felt full. Lively. Predictable, even.
Until the day he came home from patrol, coffee in one hand, data chip in the other…

Summary
Danny was hoping that college life would be easier than high school. He's still fighting ghosts, but missing class and staying up late into the night aren't big issues anymore.
And it was! At least until John Constantine shows up. And until he gets summoned by the Justice League. And until more and more powerful ghosts show up.
Okay, it wasn't easier after all.
Feedback welcome, I've never posted anything before and I want to know what I can improve on. Fair warning that this will get cheesy and tropey at some points. Also, the romance will be somewhat sappy because that's how I like it. Chapter warnings and author's notes will go at the beginning of each chapter. Happy reading!

For various reasons he would rather not get into Danny changes his last name to Nightingale and moves to Gotham. He finds a job at a cafe, and accidentally goes kinda viral for having an uncanny knowledge of seemingly every language. Unfortunately he didn't notice when someone came in with a... less Earthly language. Should have thought that one through.
They say mistakes are an opportunity to grow, and they're right. He just expected a burn rather than the boon that it brought.
