Jason takes a deep breath in, matching Bruce's unshakeable calmness. It's the first time in a long time that Jason feels like he can actually breathe.

Harry recognised the Hogwarts motto, hangover-hazy brain grappling for a moment through the Latin. “But… I didn’t know you were a sodding dragon.”
Heavy double eyelids blinked incredulously at him. “And what part of my name being Draco Malfoy failed to give you that impression?”
It felt as though a whole flock of Xenophilius Lovegood’s wrackspurts had flown in through his ears and were gleefully puréeing his brain.
“But hang on. I wasn’t tickling you?”
“Yeah, well, they were hardly going to make the school motto, ‘Never tug off a sleeping dragon’, were they?” Malfoy huffed hotly. “They’re expecting you to have enough brains to extrapolate. Look, do you have a problem with this, Potter?”
Draco turns, unexpectedly, into a dragon, and Harry gets an impromptu hands-on lesson in taking care of magical creatures.
