Summary
In which the Balladeer has been defeated, and Scaramouche is no more. Now all that’s left is the humiliated and broken soul of Kunikuzushi, the discarded prototype of the Shogun.
He was intended to be killed, as he should have been over 500 years ago.
Fortunately, for the second time in his life, he was shown mercy from the most unexpected place.
Now, he must learn to trust once more and furthermore learn to heal on the road to recovery made for him by a cheeky and flirtatious detective, and a Samurai who looks far too much like his first friend.
