Tony Stark’s love language was, without a doubt, gift-giving and acts of service, and that fact became glaringly obvious the moment he started working on Percy’s brace. Once he set his mind to it, it was like the world around him ceased to exist, every ounce of his focus locked onto designing, refining, perfecting it. Percy, Pepper, and Rhodey quickly realized they had a battle growing on their hands, getting Tony to take care of himself. He threw himself into the project so completely that things like eating, sleeping, and basic human functioning became secondary.

Percy’s insistence on this was annoying at first, but it became something Nico looked forward too now, a chance to relax, let himself spread out. But Percy wasn’t here, and the house was eerily silent, not even Lea was in her normal spot on the armchair that was too small for her.
It left Nico with a sick feeling in his gut.
