Aizawa Shouta was tired.
Crouched on the edge of the roof as he was, he observed the streets below him silently. He was coming to the end of his patrol, and if everything remained as it was, he'd be able to catch a decent nap before having to report in to the school for another round of proctoring.
Which, of course, is when he saw the kid being chased down the alley.

Being sucked through a time-traveling portal and dropped in the middle of a fantasy world with supervillains was not his idea for a good start to the new school year. Sakura’s eyes widen a bit at that, and even Sasuke looks up. Naruto opens his mouth to say something, but Kakashi puts a firm hand on his shoulder.

As a result of reading Okina Baba's So I'm A Spider, So What? I couldn't stop thinking about what I'd do in the main character's situation. It was fun, but also pretty distracting. In the end, I felt the only way to deal with it was to write it all down. To make a fanfic. Even though I have never written fanfiction before, and have a low opinion of self-inserts in particular.
I've put a lot of effort into avoiding the pitfalls, to ensure that this will be as interesting a read as it can be. No Mary Sues here.
So if, like me, you can't get enough of So I'm A Spider... maybe you'll enjoy the adventures of a sarcastic, pedantic Brit who has no idea how JRPGs work, trapped in a spider's body, in a labyrinth, in a world that runs on JRPG rules.
