Summary
As much as Danny strived to only ever do good, he was no stranger to what could happen when he did evil. Mind control. Possession. Dan. No matter how hard Danny tried to be a hero, to do good, to protect, there was always a possibility that, at some point, he wouldn’t do those things. At some point, through some set of circumstances, Danny might do something bad, and he wanted to make sure he could be stopped. Why was it so hard for the rest of the Justice League to come to terms with the fact that someday, somehow, they might need to be stopped too?

Summary
Amity Park was a cosmic bruise, and John Constantine had seen enough bruises to know when to stay away. But he didn't stay away. He found a "college student" with emerald eyes, enough muscle to crack ribs, and a secret that dwarfed even John's list of sins.
John thought he was dating a student with an "active hobby." He didn't realize he was shacking up with the High King of the Infinite Realms—until the Justice League decided to summon a god and accidentally dragged Danny Fenton out of the shower and onto the Watchtower floor.
Now the world is safe, the rift is closed, and Batman is looking for a contingency plan. But Danny isn't interested in being a hero, and John isn't interested in being a consultant. The King has a territory to mark, and John Constantine is right at the center of it.
