If his face contorts multiple times to the point where it’s so unlike Reki to wear an expression like that on his face, his friend doesn’t notice it. Because it’s just so Reki to hide himself so well, build walls so carefully around himself that nobody stops and thinks that someone like him is just so miserable.
“Yeah I guess you’re right,” Reki laughs but it sounds like a dying animal, “I’m just too Reki.”

Summary
Langa would be a liar if he said he clearly remembered the rest of the conversation. One moment he was at the skatepark with his best friend and the next he was staring holes into his ceiling trying so hard to grasp the events of the night.
Obviously it was casual, I mean they always eat out together. Sometimes they even fight over who pays!
So why did this feel so different?
Maybe it was the fact that Reki offered to pick him up, and instead of it being spontaneous Reki asked for his availability and told him that he should dress nice and that he’d find a spot instead of just crashing at Joe’s restaurant or a random ramen spot like they usually do…

“Didn’t you say we can’t kiss before we get married?” Two hands make their way to Shuichi’s face, pulling him closer once again. “Nope! I suddenly have no memory of ever saying that.” Shuichi playfully rolls his eyes, hearing people shuffle around outside the room they’re cooped in. It’s almost time Shuichi thinks, he can feel butterflies float in his stomach and a bubbly feeling rushing through his veins.
“You may now kiss the groom Shu.” Kokichi playfully chimes, bringing Shuichi back to earth. He notices Kokichi drag his face closer toward him and Shuichi can’t help the smile that takes over his lips before he decides to make Kokichi’s life easier and meet him halfway into a loving and passionate kiss.
Tl;dr Shuichi and Kokichi get ready for their wedding day :)

Reki rolls around so that he's flopped over on his belly and makes a swooshy hand gesture. "Miya, you do a buncha' tricks, right?"
Miya narrows his eyes. "Yes..?"
Reki props himself up on his elbows, his eyes shining with that specific glimmer that always shows face when he's thinking of something particularly stupid. "Do you think it's possible to hold hands while skate boarding?."

Summary
Reki sort of prides himself on knowing Langa better than anyone else. Besides his mom, obviously. And their other friends (their real friends, not the people at school) can at least read Langa pretty well. But Reki can tell what Langa’s thinking, in the same way that Langa can tell what Reki’s thinking.
Most of the time.
Because, even though Langa is literally the greatest, sometimes Reki can’t quite figure him out.
There are…things he does. Things he says. Little moments where Reki can’t quite puzzle out why he’s doing or saying that thing, and they stand out because they don’t quite fit into the picture that is their relationship.
AKA 5 times Reki didn't get it, and 1 time he did.
