Seonghwa's voice is a disturbing level of calm. Confident. Hongjoong can feel the way Chan's body perks at the notion before it recoils in a wave of distrust, dawning a guarded facade that gives nothing away of the caution hiding underneath.
"And what if you win?" he spits back in reply.
"Then I get a round with that little blue-haired toy you think I don't notice you're hiding behind you," Seonghwa muses nonchalantly. Hongjoong braves a peek over Chan's shoulder to find the gang leader staring directly at him, and his stomach immediately sinks.
"He looks like he's fun to play with."

Summary
Rain’s not stupid, he’s just a little overwhelmed; he knows what the hell just happened. He thinks back to all the times Sky and him have been more touchy with each other lately, even cuddling once while studying and not even realizing it until after they separated. Rain is aware of the way he and Prapai joke-tease-flirt with each other now. Secretly, he loves how the way he and their friends act make Phayu observe it all on their double date nights with laser-sharp focus in his dark eyes, and then later he takes Rain apart in a way that tells him Phayu actually enjoys it all, and oh, oh, oh.
Now needing something to distract him, Rain hangs his beach towel haphazardly over a chair and decides maybe he will join Phayu in the shower after all. He takes a step towards the bathroom, only to be frozen in place by a filthy moan filtering through the wall that is shared between his and Phayu’s suite and the one Sky and Prapai are in.
Rain forgets the idea of joining Phayu in the shower immediately.

Summary
Sky hates the one story he's memorized every single line of. It's the story that begins with "Once upon a time, a stupid, lonely boy named Sky believed that love always came with pain, so he accepted it."
That story ends in nightmares. It's never ended.
For years, Sky had wanted it obliterated completely, page by page and word by word and letter by letter. He had wanted the original author to have never even thought to write it, never sketched it out over Sky's skin before branding it into flesh. For years Sky had willed time to reverse and the universe to unfold and refold like tattered origami to make a new shape of him.
Paper can be refolded and refolded, but the creases remain. For the longest time Sky had wanted to press everything smooth and pure, but he knows now there always will be those creases.
Sky knows so much more now than he once did. He can repurpose everything, even paper. He can make something torn and dirty into a lovely thing, and all it takes is changing an angle, careful fingers and thoughtfulness pressing new shapes into being.
