Summary
The man yelps, letting go of the girl in an instant before running away. He doesn’t make it far, the figure bringing out a long staff and hitting the man in the back of the knees, kicking his nose when the man falls down. In an instant, the man is tied to a light pole and the figure (now the girl can see that he’s dressed in colors akin to neon highlighters). He’s young, similar to the girl’s age, she supposes, but he has far more muscles. The trembles, shrinking away from the younger man as she scans her surroundings, trying to get away from him (even if he did just save her).
“I’m not gonna go with you, wherever you want to take me.” She tries to say in a determined tone, but the words come out shakes and meek.
“I’m not going to hurt you. I promise. I’m here to protect you.” The man says in a strained voice, the fact that he’s making himself sound older and gruffer than he actually is evident through his words.

Summary
It was supposed to be over. The connection was broken. The game wasn't going to let Kayla control Bunnygirl anymore.
But to be honest, she didn't want to control Bunnygirl. She just wanted to know what happened next. And thanks to some rather supernatural experiences, she knew just how to do that.
The issue is that observing a thing changes its behavior. Especially when you can't help but try to communicate.
From Bunnygirl's perspective, it really isn't all that much weirder than her first day of consciousness. Except things are a lot more complicated in the world of humans, and even after leaving the Lab there are still things down there that haunt her. Things that might claw their way to the surface, literally or otherwise. At least the new voice in her head is helping her adjust.

Cursed by their father/grandfather Chronos, the gods are rarely able to bring children into being. With the gods much reduced in number, and demi-gods inexistant, an unconscious, unaware Percy Jackson appears in this new world.
Heavily inspired by the many wonderful Fountain Percy / Athenide Percy AUs and the incredible 'no demi-gods' Aus that I have been obsessively devouring this last week. Basically I put the two AUs in a blender and this is what came out.
