Kiramman didn’t flinch. Instead, her head tilted to her right, cocked like a curious cat who’d just heard an odd noise. She looked at the saliva where it was sliding down her index finger. Then, she turned her piercing blue eyes to meet Vi’s grey ones. Fixing her gaze on Vi, she slowly brought her hand to her mouth, opened it, and inserted her saliva-covered index finger. The loud sucking noise nearly made the bewildered Vi jump–her rage all but forgotten as she watched the taller woman in a mixture of confusion and intrigue.
