“It’s been five days since you died,” Dream stated.
The words were so matter of fact and emotionless that Tommy felt his softly burning anger rage inside of him. “It’s been over two fucking months for me, bitch,” he spat out, his voice louder than he had let it be for days, the sound bouncing off the oil-dark walls and striking back at his ears.
“Three days since I revived you,” Dream continued, ignoring Tommy’s interruption for once. “And during those five days, we have not had a single visitor.”
_______________Or: No one came to ask Dream to revive Tommy, and still trapped in prison, Dream won’t let Tommy forget it. All he can do is ask his friends for their explanations and hope for the best.

Summary
Tommy wakes up in the ruins with no name, no memories, and no powers, fire in his lungs and ash in his mouth. The world is loud and wrong, bandits circling, nightmares clinging to him even in the daylight.
The city remembers a monster called Blazeborn, a villain whispered about in fear.
Tommy doesn’t.The heroes who save him, Philza, Techno, and Wilbur, see only a half-starved, terrified fifteen-year-old boy. They bring him into their home, fold him into their found-family warmth, and try to stitch him back together.
But Tommy’s memories aren’t gone. They’re waiting.
And when they come back, so will the fire.(Or: A 300k word hurt/comfort epic about memory, power, and the boy who might be a hero—or the world’s greatest villain.)

Tommy stutters, his tongue suddenly turning to rubber and stares at the man, one of the world's top villains, in his passenger's seat. “I—”
“One moment.” The Angel holds up a finger, popping the door open and looking towards the back of Tommy’s car. He cups a hand to his face. “Boys, get in this fucking car or I’m leaving you behind!”
Tommy twists in his seat, head snapping back to look out his back window and watches as three more men (holy shit, is that the Blade?) come darting towards his car.

Summary
Everything is quiet, the world has paused and the only sound is the squelching of the knife he digs into his mentor's chest. The heroes behind him are silent.
Once he’s finished cutting into his mentor's chest he stands. He’s covered in blood and he feels powerful,
“Nightmare is dead. Nightmare will never fight again, Solaris will, Solaris lives.” He’s looking at the helicopters, right into the lens of the camera watching him. He’s shocked they haven't cut the cameras.
“I am Solaris, and I am not a sidekick.”
Tommy will not let himself be a sidekick, and if that takes getting a job at the hero tower to use information to prove that he is powerful, he will.
