Summary
Peter Parker has been through a lot. Getting bit by a radioactive spider. Becoming a hero named Spider-Man. meeting Tony. Almost getting killed by his date's father. Being invited to join the Avengers. Fighting Thanos. Losing 5 years. Fighting Thanos again. Losing Tony. Being manipulated by Mysterio. Getting exposed to the world. Creating a multiversal rift where he met two other Spider-Mans and then he had everyone forget him.
And of course, getting forced through a portal to a city that he didn't recognize. A city in New Jersey to make matters worse. Oh and also that it wasn't his universe anymore. Thanks Parker Luck.
Now forced to stay in an unknown world, Peter Parker must pick himself up again and live this new life. While occasionally being tracked by people in bird and bat costumes and an odd rich family. Seriously, this couldn't get any weirder for him.

With Dr. Strange’s spell to make EVERYONE forget about him, Peter shouldn’t have been surprised there was a failsafe to the spell. Yet here he was: surprised, confused, and utterly alone. Dr. Strange’s spell had apparently sent him to another universe, one with a city that’s never existed and heroes he’s never heard of. Luckily, he was already prepared to start living without a real identity. Yet his Parker luck just never seems to leave him alone. He never expected to see his dead father again. And definitely not as a billionaire's adopted son with more family than he can ever imagine.
Now not only is he trying to learn how to survive the new and deadly city, but he's trying to not get his little spider ass caught by some bats while trying to stay as far away from his very not dead dad who somehow is always finding ways to make appearances in his life.

Summary
It was freezing, and the biting cold was already affecting him. Limbs were heavy, and Peter didn't need to sink down again.
He saw the lights of a city in the distance and made a move towards it. The swim was long and laborious. He felt uncoordinated, waves kept knocking him back, and it was just so fucking cold.
By the time he reached close enough to the flood wall Peter was exhausted. It took all his strength to pull himself out of the water and stick to it. All he wanted to do was stay still and stick to that damn wall. Water lapped below him splashing up his leg, as if the bay was reaching out to drag him below her depths once more. Peter forced himself to finish climbing the flood wall, where he allowed himself to collapse for just a moment.
Or: Peter leaves the problems of his universe, and inherits the problems of another.
