For the last twenty years, Robin had wanted to die. She could appreciate the irony of finally having her wish granted just when she’d finally found people she thought she might like to live a little longer for. It rhymed like poetry. This all began with a storm. It was only right then that it would end with one as well.

Summary
In her heart of hearts, Nami knows that she wants too much: that she’s too much. She’s been this way for as long as she can remember, even when she was just a tiny child chafing against poverty and the shoreline of an island that seemed to grow smaller and smaller with each passing year. The voracious beast inside her was quieter before Arlong educated her on the true price of not having enough, but it’s always been a part of her and has been clawing at the inside of her ribcage and howling for more ever since. Strangers are the safest choice for Nami to let herself be so hungry with because she’s gone by morning, long before her neediness can swallow them whole, so she can take from them without an ounce of guilt and she tells herself that it’s enough.

Summary
When she'd died, Luciana hadn't expected to become a bad cliché and be born again in a fictional universe... but here she was. Still, that didn't mean she had to get involved with stupidly dangerous things like pirates, military regimes, and revolutions. She was perfectly happy living a quiet and peaceful life on the island of her (re)birth, thank you very much!
She hadn't counted on getting so attached to Nico Robin though.
As it turned out, Luciana hadn't counted on a lot of things that ended up happening anyways. But even though she was blind, that didn't mean she couldn't see the ways she could best protect her nakama. (And she would protect them.) If the world stood in her way, she’d simply change the world. Her two most precious people had dreams that would carry them all the way to Laugh Tale. She refused to be anywhere but at their sides.

Spandam was always a little too enamored with the power of the Buster Call. When the Straw Hat Pirates storm Enies Lobby, they don't escape alone. Spandam had another prisoner, with a past that's a little too much like Robin's, and the longer she stays with them the less they want her to leave. Their new friend is an interesting person with interesting powers after all, even if she's a little young for a pirate.

As it always did, the sound of Robin’s voice made Nami relax, the tightness seeping out of her back and shoulders. Her voice washed over her in waves, warm pleasure lapping at her skin and pooling between her legs with a pressure she couldn’t ignore.
It wasn’t the first time she’d had this sort of reaction. There was something in the deep, smooth rhythm of her speech that sent shivers trailing up and down Nami’s spine. She swallowed hard, her heart pounding in her throat.
"–Isn’t that wonderful?"
"Yeah. Keep going, I’m interested."
