Summary
*hiatus*
Months have passed since the end of the Noxus invasion. Free from the rune, Viktor is seemingly stuck as the Herald, and Jayce is desperate to free Viktor from his guilt.
But their time together in the rune caused an unforeseen effect. Whenever Jayce touches Viktor, he feels the full force of human emotion.
While Viktor struggles to choose if he wants to feel human again, Jayce is determined to show him the life they could live together.
However, the appearance of a new mysterious Chem-baron threatens all of Zaun, and echoes of past mistakes return to haunt them. In order to forge a new life, they must mend the cracks of the past.

Summary
The chair legs scraped against the floor as he stood and made to walk towards the door to show his guest out. In a blink of an eye, Astarion’s hand closed around his forearm.
“I’m just looking for a place to stay. Just for a while. Somewhere. Somewhere … safe.”The Netherbrain had been deafeated, the orb removed, and Gale settled back into familiar old routines within the walls of his tower.
Until Astarion appeared at his door in broad daylight. Something was deeply wrong with that elf.

Summary
Astarion doesn't care if this stupid ugly bear is trying to be nice. He's far too distracted by his own problems; namely the yawning, unending, cavernous ache in his stomach that refuses to go away.

Summary
Disciple Z'rell doesn't look at him. She doesn't have to.
These people are heroes, her tadpole hisses, though her face stays blank and apathetic. They do not serve. But you? I could believe it.
Astarion swallows. The shrieking animal in his chest flinches back. You could?
I could. Z'rell drags her gaze over the assembled party, over five perfect, star-wrought heroes. If you prove it.
Astarion kills Karlach.
Things do not get better from there.

Summary
“We should come up with a plan,” Wyll begins. “A regimen, if you will. I’ll create a schedule of when you should be hunting, roughly every two days to start—”
A laugh cuts through Wyll’s words. Dark and bitter, more like a growl.
Astarion hisses, “Are you out of your sweet, gods damned mind? You’d really do that? Keep me on a schedule? Like…that? Genuinely?”
Wyll looks him dead in the eye. “Yes. I would.”
Wyll notices that Astarion does not feed himself like a proper vampire should. As a monster hunter, and as a companion in their tadpole travels, Wyll simply cannot let it stand. He offers to take charge of Astarion’s feeding habits.
It’s an offer in good faith.
And it is the start of a much more intimate arrangement between the two of them.

Summary
“Are you sure you’re all right?” Wyll cups the side of his face with a warm palm, peering into his eyes, and Astarion lets out a soft moan before he can help it. Wyll’s eyes go wide. He swipes his thumb below Astarion’s mouth, smearing the tacky blood there, and Astarion lets it fall open, panting lightly. “Did you drink from her?” Wyll asks, sounding alarmed.
“Uhh,” Astarion says.
Wyll looks equal parts exasperated and amused. “Did you not consider the effect the blood of a sex devil might have?”
Astarion drinks the blood of a succubus. There are consequences.
