Summary
Simon wakes up aboard the Hail Mary unsure of how he got here and unable to understand a word spoken to him. He's scared, confused, and convinced this is some sort of dream. Starts off as Simon's struggle to get a grip on his new reality, but will eventually be more episodic as the boys and their rock make their way to the home awaiting them on Erid.

Summary
This was a slippery slope. Slipperier than growing too comfortable on Erid and in the house with Grace. Slipperier than falling into the wrong crowd on Eden and ending up in prison. Slipperier than the blood as it poured in through the gashes of the submarine.

Simon wakes up in an unknown place with the scars of his previous life etched onto his skin. As he struggles to pull himself into focus, and listen to the angel living here who's spouting off information, he realizes that the C.O.I. and Eden can no longer reach him. For some reason... that stings. As Simon attempts to get used to his new appearance from his time in the submarine and figure out how to uphold Eden's legacy, Simon realizes that he may have a bigger problem to deal with. The pain from his injuries is manageable, it's the newfound knot in his stomach that's confusing. While Grace is focused on how Simon even ended up on Erid in the first place, Simon spends his time focused on a much brighter, more bubbly individual...

Adrian and their team find a new moon orbiting 40 eridiani, and upon further investigation find out not only is it filled with an ocean of human blood, but has a submarine floating on its surface with a human inside. So the do what they think is best and bring the stranger back home to Erid, to consult their resident human: Ryland Grace.

Summary
Simon faced a God and survived. He's not sure if its either in spite of or because of. What he does know is that his universe cannot have produced a man as incredible as Ryland Grace.
But it seems the God is not yet done with him, and Grace has only started.
This fic is mostly to satisfy the part of my brain that likes nitty gritty world building details, and I want to watch Simon and Grace be gentle to eachother and feirce to the world, and I want to put them in a lab
