Summary
Two years have passed since Gold Morning and Earth Gimel has begun to recover just enough for people to start tearing it down once more.
Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on ones view of things, a girl almost as good at holding things together as she is at tearing them apart has begun to rouse from two years of dormancy. Leaving her isolation to meet familiar and unfamiliar faces in very unfamiliar places.
(Or put simply a Taylor in Ward story told in a sort of reverse Interlude style because I wanted to play around with the Ward cast a bit.)

Summary
Rokas is a smith moving out to the frontier to establish a workshop there. He is surprised to find that his assistant is to be Oona, a woman with a Pact- a supernatural blessing granting her the hybridized form of a wolf. As time goes on they discover that there might be more going on in the small community that they are now a part of and that the two of them work better together as a pair than either could have anticipated.

"Oh. in that case..." The girl looked at her reflection in the mirror. "...I think... Skitterbug. Skitterbug sounds right."
