Gingerbrave has lived a long time, travelling across his world with a Soul Jam and a helping hand outstretched. Since the end of the Dark Flour War, he has helped whoever needed him, carried what no one else could, and taught himself how to keep a careful distance from the friends beginning to reach for him.
It is safer that way.
At least, it is supposed to be.
When unknown magic tears through his Soul Jam and pulls him out of his own world, Gingerbrave falls into another, familiar yet strange. There, White Lily Cookie and her friends find a lost Cookie who looks far too much like someone they have been searching for, carrying a Soul Jam unlike anything they have ever seen.
All they want is to help him get home.
But fear travel easily between worlds, old habits die hard, and something ancient and terrible waits out in the forest.
The way home may be closer than anyone realizes, but first they must untangle the web ahead of them.
