Summary

The voice in Bakugou’s head is getting obnoxious. It used to tell him useful things, like, "Ha! Look at that shitty nerd Deku. What a dweeb. He’ll never be as good as you." Recently, though, it’s turned its comments to one redheaded extra. It’s been trying to manipulate him into thinking and doing things he definitely Does Not Want to think or do. Like agree to a plan that doesn’t involve blowing up his enemies. Or share his scarf. Or take up baking.
Fuck the voice in his head. Bakugou is going to repress the shit out of it.

The back of Marc’s neck tingled and that was all the warning he got before Khonshu spoke. This man is broken, Marc Spector. Much like yourself.
Marc didn’t react to the insult apart from flinching slightly. He glanced back down at the shuddering man. “I don’t think he’s gonna hurt anyone, Khonshu.”
Maybe so. But he has hurt people before. I can feel it.
The man was still panting, chest heaving. It was a wonder he hadn’t passed out yet. “He just needs some help. That’s all.”
Takes place after CA:tWS and follows the many times Bucky and Marc meet across the MCU timeline.
OR:
How the MCU would’ve been different if Moon Knight had been involved sooner. Oh, and if someone showed Bucky and Marc some fucking kindness.

“Do you remember me?” There’s a gloating quality to this man’s voice, and Steven decidedly hates it. “Two years ago. Amsterdam. You ruined my entire operation in one night, but you made one mistake, Spector, you know that? You know what it was?”
“This is a rhetorical question, isn’t it?”
“It was fucking me—”
“Absolutely not,” Steven interrupts. “Marc’s standards are higher than that.”
His head gets snapped back for that, a swift punch to his jaw sending hot jolts of pain down his face. He is definitely going to bruise. It’s still kind of worth it.

“I’m eighteen, if that’s what you’re worried about,” the kid continues, shifting slightly, and his voice is quiet and subdued and hoarse, and Steven’s knee bounces.
“That’s not,” Steven says, “That’s not why I came over here. Ah,” he licks his lips, unsure how to continue. The kid raises an eyebrow, expression very clearly reading then why the hell are you over here, and Steven clears his throat a bit. “Just,” he says. “To talk.”
Or: Marc happens to pass by a random homeless kid on the streets of New York. This, it turns out, is a mistake, because Steven- Steven, for some Khonshu-damned reason, grows attached.
(And Marc doesn't. He really, really doesn't. He swears.)
