Summary
After all his fighting against Abyssal monsters, the knights want to take precautions to ensure the Vice Captain of the 5th company doesn't succumb to the Abyss. If only it had been Varka who had the potential risk of being infected, because while the Grandmaster tensed up, but took the shot easily, handling Lohen was not such an easy task.

Summary
"As she searched for her palette knife, Avery returned his chair to a respectable angle, and reached down into his bag. Penelope was just about tearing her hair out when she felt something pass her lips. Turning her head in shock, she saw Avery twirling her paintbrush leisurely between his fingers. Penelope exhaled, mouth falling open in exasperation, and was about to say something devastating when she saw him approach again, and in the blink of an eye, tasted metal on her tongue where the wood was before.
Speechless, she stared motionlessly into the brown of his eyes and slowly closed her mouth around the knife, her lips grazing his fingertips as he pulled back and smiled, looking almost with pride at her stillness. Whilst she sat paralysed with the speed of her thoughts, he reached down into her pocket, took a shilling, and winked at her, before leaning back in his chair again.
“Pay attention next time, Lockett.”
Alright, Gabriel Avery. Game on.

Summary
Dark Historical Spicy Romance
In 12th century France, a heretical group, the Cathars, are becoming a threat to Church and State. The ruthless inquisitor monk, Brother Aurel, is tasked with rooting them out. When the blacksmith's unusual and alluring daughter, Solange, ends up in his dungeon, he finds that his motives are not entirely pure while subjecting her to his inquisition. Brother Aurel finds himself questioning his vows and feelings, and wonders if he will save them or condemn them both.
I thought it would be fun to write about a medieval torturer having a relationship with his prisoner. It developed into something much more. Add in corrupting a hot monk MMC and a strong FMC, and here we go.
Comments and constructive criticism welcome.
