Alastor Guidry, a well-respected, Creole gentleman who has a few unsightly impulses he needs to keep under wraps to make a name for himself, and Vincent Whittman, a desperate white man who just fled familial chaos in the suburbs of Baltimore and has been thrust into the chaos of New Orleans that his short-lived experience at Tulane University did not prepare him for, are forced to share the spotlight together on a radio show for an hour twice a week on Tuesday and Friday evenings.
Two attention-seeking, narcissistic, strapped-for-money, and murderous egomaniacs sharing the stage— and, wild surprise, both hate it.
They both know how to fix their issue.
Neither knows the other has the same idea.
And neither knows just how entangled their lives have already been before even properly facing one another in the parking lot of the broadcasting station, whether or not it was their own paths crossing or generations past. Which is going to make their ‘fixes’ a lot harder to execute as they draw closer and remain longer with one another than they initially intend to.
