Summary
She should have let him die.
It would have been easier. Kinder, maybe, to the shape the world was supposed to keep.
But Sakura Haruno has never been good at walking away from the wounded.
The dead are not dead yet.
Peace is still only a dangerous idea in the mouths of men who have spent their whole lives learning how to bury one another. Konoha does not exist.
In one of the worst moments of her life, half-mad with grief, on the brink of chakra exhaustion, surrounded by ghosts who should neither walk nor speak, Sakura saves the wrong man.

Summary
One moment Sakura is dying bitter and alone, the next she is waking up in a room that she's never seen before. She quickly puts together that she somehow managed to dimension hop. Just as swiftly, Sakura realizes that saving the world was clearly a job meant for other people like Sasuke and Naruto. New life, new attitude.
One moment Kakashi is happy with his father, the next he is dead. He can't sleep. Kakashi trains himself into the ground. He still can’t sleep. He wants to be better than his father. He still cannot sleep. The village hates him because of what his father had done. Sleep eludes him. Things change when he runs into a house.
One moment Minato is trying to figure out his student while trying to balance his duties, and then next Kakashi flipped his entire demeaner. He is still a sarcastic little menace, but he’s far more open to Minato’s teachings. He knew he made mistakes with his student, but this change in life happened while he was away.
As in: Sakura decided to become the problem, Kakashi is the problem and the solution, and Minato is the solution.

Summary
She was about to respond when Kakashi's hand wrapped around her ankle, pulling her leg to the side to open her up to their view. "I think," he said conversationally, though his eyes were fixed between her legs where she was already wet and wanting, "that someone needs to learn patience."
"I'm very patient," Sakura protested. "I'm a medic. Patience is literally part of my job."
"Then you won't mind if we take our time," Genma said with a wicked grin.
Oh no.
Kakashi's fingers trailed up her inner thigh, so close to where she needed him but not quite touching. "You teased us all evening. Flirted. Touched. Made suggestions." His finger circled her hip bone, making her squirm. "I think it's only fair we return the favor."
Genma had moved to her other side, his hand cupping her breast, thumb brushing over her nipple in maddeningly light touches. "We're going to make you beg, sweetheart."
"I don't beg," Sakura said, but her voice lacked conviction.
"We'll see about that."
And then they proceeded to prove exactly why they were considered two of the most eligible bachelors in all of Konoha.

Summary
Her client either doesn't actually know the ninja's name or (equally likely) knows that ninja of this era despise introductions, but Sakura knows the name of her new coworker: Uchiha Madara is standing in front of her, wild-haired and distinctively relaxed, looking no older than her — not quite a teenager anymore, coming into his full adult height and broad shoulders, but much younger than he had looked during the Fourth War.
Seeing him is a literal nightmare come to life, but Sakura is a professional. She bows politely and does not let her hands tremble. "I look forward to working with you."
"Likewise," Madara says, perfectly polite and yet clearly not meaning it. Clearly dismissing her, because she's a young, pink-haired, civilian woman.
Well. She'll show him.
