the migraine that felt like a needle, prodding the answer from his brain.As he tried to stop the answer his vision went white.
“N-no” he panted his breaths as relief hit and his vision returned, revealing a silent room, all eyes on him.

Dean didn’t wait for the man to write anything else, storming out of the room and down the stairs. He didn’t stop at the information desk, ignoring Barbara calling his name as he headed for the exit. Strong fingers wrapped around his wrist. He twisted around, breaking the hold and glaring at the man.
“Don’t fucking touch me.”
The man held up his hands. Amusement made his eyes brighter.
“Jason,” Barbara said as she wheeled over to them. “I told you to be gentle. Not bulldoze him.”
Jason, apparently, gave her the finger.
She snorted. “Dean, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to freak you out. Jason is my boyfriend’s little brother.”
Jason stiffened at the words and signed furiously at Barbara. She concentrated on what he was saying before rolling her eyes.
“Jason is not my boyfriend’s little brother. He is completely unrelated to my boyfriend and his whole family. He only puts up with me because I provide him with int—” she cut herself off. “Gossip.”
Jason crossed his arms like he was done with the conversation.

Summary
The grave dirt still clung beneath his fingernails.
He stumbled barefoot across the Gotham cemetery, shirt stiff, skin gray from the earth. His lungs rattled, his ribs ached, and the moon above looked too white, too sharp, like a blade. Every step was agony; every breath, a fight against the coffin that still seemed to close in around him.
He didn’t know his name. Not yet. He didn’t know who he’d been or why the taste of blood felt so familiar on his tongue. All he knew was that he had been dead, and now he wasn’t.
The boy wandered through cracked headstones and rusted iron fences, until the city’s glow swallowed the night. He moved on instinct: alleys, shadows, avoiding headlights, avoiding people. Gotham was a monster, and something inside him whispered that it had already eaten him once.

Summary
After Red hoods confrontation with Batman things in the alley go from the bets they've been in years to hell on earth. With the Bat brutally hunting down anyone associated with Red Hoods gang, the crime family and rouges smelling blood and entering a frenzy and the Bats total and complete disregard for they're lives the alley makes a decision.
They pack up and leave.
It takes a lot to faze anyone from Gotham and even more to faze those of the alley. But the Bat had done it, he'd showed the alley he hated them, removed they're only protection and hunted down people just trying to make a living. Dismantled everything the red hood had built to better they're home and spat it at them like it was something fowl.
So they left for different cities, Star, Metropolis, Central, bludhaven, Coast. Anywhere was safer than under the bats iron clawed rule.
Among those fleeing a small group of what remained of Red hoods gang fled cross the country to a silent city on the California coast. As far as they could get from Gotham without leaving the country carrying with them they're lives and they're gravely injured boss who one of them had pulled from the rubble of a warehouse.

When Roy Harper told him he’d started dating again, he didn’t think much of it.
Okay, that’s not quite true. What he did think was a sharp and triumphant “finally, thank god”. Which he did not say to Roy, for the obvious reasons of it’s an asshole thing to say.
His response was not, “Hey Roy, are you sure the guy you just started dating isn’t the infamous criminal Red Hood who may or may not happen to be my very deceased little brother back from the dead?”
Because that would be insane.
And yet.
Or,
Dick Grayson fails to meet his best friend’s boyfriend, gets punched in the face, comes out as aromantic, finds out a certain someone is dating a criminal, falls in love with his best friend, and reunites with his back-from-the-dead brother. Not necessarily in that order- Language:

The door to the warehouse creaks open, spilling in a silver of yellow light. His captor finally makes an appearance. The figure that steps inside is broad-shouldered, wrapped in leather and kevlar, a red helmet gleaming dully in the dark.
Red Hood.
Dick’s stomach twists. Great. Of fucking course it’s Gotham’s newest crime lord wannabe. The one who’s getting on Batman’s nerves lately and mowing down the underworld with guns and severed heads like he’s trying to win a competition.
“Company’s here,” Jason sing-songs from his crate, kicking his dangling leg. His kneecap dangles grotesquely, but the grin on his face is all kid-brother mischief. “Don't have too much fun while I’m gone, big brother!”
The kid is gone before Dick can blink.
Or
Dick gets kidnapped by Red Hood except… there's a twist to it.

Holy hell Bernard had been right! Red Hood was dating Red Robin! Admittedly he was likely going to be dead before he can inform Tim, but at least any necromancers could pass the message on.

Jason’s first mistake was hacking the Bats’ secret comm channel.
Although could it really be called hacking when they’d never bothered to change their frequency since his Robin days? All he’d had to do was log on, and boom – instant access to the best ways to avoid meddlesome Bats while he got shit done. And since his end was carefully muted, they wouldn’t even know anyone was listening.
His second mistake was thinking he could listen without getting sucked back into their drama.
Jason came back to Gotham with two intentions: one – protect Crime Alley and do it right this time. And two – avoid the Bats. Neither of these were proving as simple as he’d hoped.

(AU where, at the end of his League of Assassins training, Jason decides to go to Metropolis for college instead of going back to Gotham for revenge. Things spiral from there. The title is so sarcastic by the way. There’s nothing regular about Jason Todd.)

Dick is trying his best to be patient with Damian, but the kid keeps insulting Dick's long-dead little brother. Dick just can't understand why Damian is so callous towards poor Jason's memory, especially since his youngest brother had never even met the second Robin before he died.
Turns out Damian might not have met Jason before he died, but after was a different story.

But desperate times called for desperate measures, and no matter how invulnerable he thought he was, if he couldn’t get through Sionis’ warehouse, Damian would die. And he was not taking that chance.
“You wanted to talk, Red Hood?” Batman asked, and the Robin beside him tilted his head. Jason had seen the kid work, he was like a computer. He was an expert and standing to the side and taking in enough information to solve a problem, better than Bruce ever had. If anyone had a chance of figuring out who he was, it was Robin.
“I need your help.” Jason finally admitted, his voice distorted through his helmet. “I know you and I aren’t exactly friends, but my hands are tied.”
“What do you need?” Batman asked, voice even and careful. He wasn’t a fan of the Red Hood, not with his guns and general stance on killing and violence. Jason wouldn’t hesitate to put a bullet in someone’s head if they deserved it.
“Black Mask ambushed me yesterday,” Jason admitted. “He took my kid, and I need to get him back.”
