The wind that managed to seep through made the flame of a candle flicker as it struggled to drive away the Boos’ natural darkness. It did a rather poor job of it, barely illuminating the oil painting resting on an easel, despite having been placed as close as possible without risking a fire. Yet that did not stop the painter from adding the final touch : a rounded triangle on either side of the round body, raised in the air as though the Boo were about to frighten someone.

Un rugissement qui aurait très bien pu être émis par une centaine d’esprits faisait trembler les murs. Le vent qui arrivait à passer provoquait le vacillement de la flamme d’une bougie tentant de chasser l’obscurité naturelle des Boo. Celle-ci faisait piètrement son travail, éclairant à peine la peinture à huile posée sur un chevalet, alors qu’elle était positionnée le plus proche possible sans que ça ne provoque un feu. Cela n’empêcha pourtant point son peintre d’ajouter la touche finale : un triangle arrondi de chaque côté du corps rond, levé en l’air comme si le Boo s’apprêtait à effrayer quelqu’un.
