Summary

That's when Professor Crewel gives them a group assignment. How much can change in two weeks? A lot, apparently, and what was supposed to be a simple alchemy project turns into something more complicated, involving a heist, personal drama, good food and surprising revelations, not necessarily in that order.

The prefect was from another world. So it made sense that the prefect was peculiar as they are.
But still, there was facts and parts of them the students can't truly understand.Another world does bring consequences of understanding facts. Different facts. Like how the Prefect knows how to speak languages that have been dead. Or has a different idea of history.
Or maybe they should think about how the prefect could eat basically anything. Or knows too many facts about animals.
And yet despite their differences... they seem to bury their way into the hearts of the boys that surround them.

Ace figured that the most interesting part of his summer job at the local jewelry store during his summer vacation would be watching cringey couples fawning over each other while debating what jewelry to get the other before they inevitably balked at the price tags attached and sheepishly high-tailing it back out the door of the shop.
Developing a crush at first smile on some delinquent with cringe fashion-sense was not on his summer to do list; unfortunately for him, as much as his friends suggest otherwise, he wouldn't have had a chance anyways. The guy was always buying jewelry for who was obviously his girlfriend and Ace was NOT a homewrecker.
