Dazai lived and breathed masks; a mask of who he had been sat in the back of his mind, never truly banished, and the current one he wore plastered on his face as he struggled through the day - no one noticed, of course. Not a single one of his coworkers noticed it slipping, nor did they care.
But that was okay, even if he wasn't. He knew he wasn't, and didn't have any plans on being okay.
Until Chuuya came crashing into his apartment, that was.

And Cloud would fight the Six themselves to keep Prompto and his gang of friends safe.
"Where are your parents, Prompto?" Ignis inquired, a displeased frown settling on his lips as he gazed around the empty house.
"Oh, Dad's not around a lot, he's busy running a one-man business. We constantly text each other though, he's always been there for me even if he isn't here, so don't worry about him, Iggy. Audrey and David... they're not around, like, ever. But, I've got Dad, and Uncle Vincent. They're good enough for me."

Peter sighed and stared at his beer, turning the bottle to unseeingly stare at the label. “I don’t know, Wade, it’s just…” Peter trailed off.
“Just what?” Wade pushed gently. Sometimes with Peter, he had to lead the conversation back to the problem Peter was having when he trailed off. It happened often enough when real life responsibilities started to become fuddled with the super hero life and Peter couldn’t figure out how to balance them.
“I don’t know how much longer I can do this, Wade,” Peter sighed deeply. He slouched in on himself like the weight of the world he held up on his shoulders for so long was finally breaking him down.
