Jeongguk did not mean to fall.
No, like 𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦, physically fall on him. He was already feeling dizzy cause his heat was due to start in a week, and he had to get the final project submitted and in his haste to get to the copier, he got up too fast.
Causing him to flail his arms in hopes of grabbing something to break his fall. So can he 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 be blamed if it so happened to be the CEO of RKive Inc? Who was also holding a coffee in his hand?
So why has a week past and CEO Kim Namjoon continually visits his floor? He's on the 4th floor while the CEO is supposed to be on the 10th for crying out loud?! And why does he ALWAYS pass his desk even if the manager's desk is on the opposite side of the floor?
And why did he have a letter in his inbox saying he's been promoted to the CEO's secretarial staff the day after he returned from his heat? Meaning he'll be on the 𝑠𝑎𝑚𝑒 floor? And why after he moved his things has the CEO 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 not stopped staring at him?!
After wracking his brain, for God knows how long, he came to one conclusion: the CEO is out for revenge.
And Jeongguk will be damned if he lets the CEO bully him around like this. Because that's obviously what's happening, right?

Summary
All of a sudden, Namjoon thinks he finally understands. He's no different than Jungkook's tattoos or piercings or Doberman. Namjoon is just an accessory showing how tough and brave Jungkook is. How he's got a masochistic streak, how he likes things that can hurt him.
He wonders for the very first time if Jungkook likes him because he is an alpha and not because he is Namjoon.
