Summary
Nana successfully defeated All For One in their fight, and was carried off the battlefield by Torino and Yagi to receive medical attention. As such, none of them realized All For One has a contingency--a Quirk combination to revive herself from the most serious of injuries.
Unfortunately for her, due to an unexpected interaction with her longevity Quirk, her memories did not survive the full body rejuvenation.
Rescue workers combing over the ruins of the island where Nana and AFO fought looking for survivors, or at least remains to be given to the next of kin, find an amnesiac little girl amongst the rubble. With no known family, the girl is named Inko and adopted by Nana.

Izuku felt alone in the world. Like something was missing. Of course, he knew what was missing. His quirk. Unlike most of the population of the world, he didn't have one. His parents each had one, his former best friend had one, everyone he knew had a quirk. Except for him. He was bullied, ignored, and discarded. He had his mother and father, but they could only do so much to help when it seemed like the rest of the world wanted to deny his existence. But one day, he awakened to his power. And he would never be alone again.

Summary
It all started about sixty years ago. It was business as usual, until it wasn't. Some say the cause was a comet from a different corner of the universe. Some say it was a rift that opened up in the sea, only to close shortly after. Others still say that it was an act of some sort of God. No matter what the cause, the reality was that monsters now existed. For there was no other word to describe them. But society learned to adapt. And soon a new profession appeared. Monster Hunters. Those who went out into the wilds to hunt monsters for all manner of reasons. Fame, money, power. All of that and more could be achieved by becoming a successful Hunter. So long as one survived the profession.
To help with that, and make sure every hunter was as prepared as they could be, schools popped up all over the globe specifically for that purpose, the greatest of them being U.A.
Our story starts before our heroes make it to that school, however. On the day that changes their lives forever.

He doesn't need them to think he can do it. All he needs, is to believe in himself, and the power he was granted. And one day, the whole world will know his name! Izuku Midoriya, the greatest hero of all time! But nobody gets to the top all on their own. With a little support from those who actually care, that's how he'll reach the top.
