Summary
An exploration of growing up with a living legend for a half-brother.
---
His first race was horrible. Well, it could have been worse. At least Luca finished the race. During it, though, he constantly felt like he was in last place. The next race was the same, falling back. It had been humiliating to be overtaken by his brother. Yes, he had much more experience than Luca, but he was supposed to be Vale's legacy. Luca was supposed to be younger, just as prodigal and talented. All he had proved was that race was his own inadequacy. The only highlight of his first two races was a good job and a playful slap on his shoulder given to him by Vale. He was ashamed to admit that he'd placed his own hand over the lingering warmth, trying to imagine that it was Vale's instead.

Summary
Rain has a way of washing everything away, including all the ways Marc ignores the way his arm aches. When he can't hide it anymore when visiting the ranch, Vale and the academy boys step in to help.
—
"Marc was sitting in the bedroom, back against the wall and knees tucked up to his chest. Broad shoulders were rounded, hunched over and making the powerful man look small against the cream colored stone wall. His arms were tucked between his thighs and his torso, hair falling down onto his legs where his forehead sat atop the points of his knees.Wavy brown hair now sat draped across his forehead while wide brown eyes stared up at Valentino framed by dark eyelashes. Tan skin and pink lips made Vale’s breath hitch, just as Marc’s beauty always did. But then Marc’s head tilted ever so slightly, bathing his face in the washed out light coming from the windows, the only light in the room. Silver tracked down his cheeks, highlighting the red rimmed eyes and bloodshot white of his eyes. The muscle in his jaw jumped right as he bit down on his lip hard enough that Vale swears he can see blood well up around pearly white teeth.
Something in Vale’s head was screaming: wrong, wrong, wrong."

Summary
Marc Marquez may be the most hexed rider of all time.
That's what Vale thinks, anyway. It was him who was all but coated in the little pieces of magic, harmless as those ones may have been, in the early parts of his career. It was him who was hit by that vicious one in 2020, the one that led to the current regulations and protections in place.
So when Luca tells Vale that Marc has been hexed once more, he really isn't too worried. Even when he hears how bad this one is, leagues worse than the one from 2020. He has no intention of going near Marc anyway, and he doesn't even tolerate the man, so really he doesn't care. It has nothing to do with him.
Right?

Summary
His long blonde hair was tied back in a loose ponytail, but a few soft strands had slipped free, framing his features. His blue eyes were half-lidded, lost in the music, the stage lights casting a golden glow on his pale, smooth skin.
And his outfit?
A soft, oversized cardigan, hanging loosely off his frame—with nothing underneath.
Nothing.
Just bare skin, lean muscle, and a hint of delicate tattoos littered across his chest and abdomen.
Mark swallowed hard, gripping the edge of his seat as the omega tilted his head back, his voice raw and intoxicating, pouring his heart into the lyrics.
The crowd was eating it up.
And Mark?
Mark was struggling to breathe.
