That no matter what other people expect of you, you have always been enough for me. You are kind and smart and so fucking funny and a hell of a hockey player, as much as it kills me to say. And from the moment we met as teenagers, you acted like the mask wasn’t even there. No one has ever seen me like you do, Ilya. That fucking terrifies me.”
Ilya fought a grimace, finding the flurry of compliments overwhelming. Instead, he pressed a kiss to Shane’s jaw and said, “I want the whole world to see you like I do.”
Fuckkk another life changing fic! I love how communicative they are– remember guys, always communicate with your partner! Perfection! I don't have any problems with anything in here, maybe just wanting it to be longer but that's just because I'm spoiled.

WHAT THE FUCK?? This is the best HR fanfic ever😭 This fic beats me up with the amount of feels it is throwing at me. I teared up a lot reading this.
