“Suguru, it is not my fucking fault that the rest of the non-sorcerer population is too weak to join us.”
“I wouldn’t say they’re weak. Just not rich enough for your exorbitant entrance fee.”
“Of one box of mochi? Please.”

Barok van Zieks, having helped Ryuunosuke Naruhodou with his torn shopping bags one evening, spends the night talking away with a certain Great Detective a few days prior to his visit to the World's Fair in progress. The Reaper may or may not have made a bad decision that night - and Herlock Sholmes seems to be determined to find out just whose potentially bad decision it was to leave that incriminating piece of evidence right on top of his work desk.
Barok tries to run, fails, and Herlock is, as always, bad at deductions.
