Three meetings turn into four, then five, then six, and before Elsa knows it, it has become a routine of theirs.
She understands why Reinhard keeps on chasing her, but what she doesn’t understand is why she hasn't already stopped seeing him yet. Her heart’s beating erratically, and a sudden heat surges and spreads throughout her. She knows she’ll feel satisfied after facing a worthy opponent, but this is… more than that.
She likes him because he’s strong, she has known that since they first met. She hates him as well, that is certain. Someone who views her as nothing but an annoyance in a fight is someone that she cannot stand.
But she also wants him.
Maybe she wants him to hate her as much as she hates him. Maybe she wants him to want her as well.
She grins and tastes iron on her tongue. Everything about this is wrong, she knows this, but-
