Summary
8th October, 2008
Potter HouseholdLarge, purplish grey clouds rolled across the sky, bringing with them a ferocious storm. Thunder clapped loudly as hammering rain pounded against the windows of Albus Potter's bedroom, waking him instantly from sleep. The young boy sat upright in his small bed, looking worriedly towards the window where the sounds of the storm could still be heard. It was very loud and, for a boy of just three years old, very scary.
A raging storm is not conducive to sleep, for any of the Potters.

Summary
The story of how Teddy Lupin didn't become an Auror.
"Now, you certainly don't need me to tell you that now is the time to start thinking about the path your career might take when you leave Hogwarts. You will each have a career advice session with me in the upcoming week, please sign up at my desk."
Teddy hung back, taking an extra-long amount of time to put all of his school stuff away into his bag, along with a small sketch he'd just been working on during the class. Career advice seemed so stupid when he had absolutely zero clue what he wanted to do with his life and, quite frankly, he was confused at how sure all his peers seemed to be about their own futures. I mean, they were only fifteen?

Summary
24th December, 2009
Ginny didn't mind that Harry’s job took him away like this from time to time. She'd known when she married him that she was hardly signing up for a quiet life, and that hadn't changed just because they'd had three children. There was just something about it being Christmas Eve that made it all the more painful to be away from him.
The head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement (Harry’s boss) updated her regularly with enough information to know Harry was alive, wherever he was, and would be home as soon as they could spare him. She unfolded the last letter she'd received, the night before, simply confirming he was safe and with the hope that it would be the end of the mission, then a reminder that she couldn't contact him directly without compromising his safety.
“It's Christmas Eve, and you're not here,” she whispered to herself, clutching the small pendant necklace Harry had bought for her birthday which she never took off.

Summary
With Ginny’s help, he retrieved a stack of cards from a drawer in the bedside table, the cards Harry had pretended not to know were in there.
”Give Albus and Lily theirs too,” Ginny prompted when James went to hand the whole pile to Harry in one.
James looked momentarily confused. “But they’re not for Albus and Lily. They’re for Daddy.”

Summary
It was rare for all of Harry’s school friends to meet up at the same time, especially since they’d had children, but the Hogsmeade Christmas lights event made the perfect excuse to all get together.
Incessant reporters, an unwieldy pushchair, Sparkly Dragons and questionable three-year-old logic make the Potters’ festive visit to Hogsmeade rather memorable.
