It all started with a suggestion from his wife. It wasn’t so much a suggestion as it was a command posed as one. Louis had been married for 10 years so he was very familiar with the type of comment meant for him to take the bait and follow through. However, they usually involved suggestions about finally fixing something around the house or suggestions about things like taking out the trash or doing something more productive than lounging around the house. He groaned internally as this suggestion interrupted his long standing weekend date with himself.
