Lance rolls the straw of his milkshake between his fingers. “I’m telling you, he’s not normal.”
Pidge shakes their head as they lean back in the diner booth, arms crossed. “You have a crush.”
“He has a mullet,” Lance stresses with a wave of his hand before he angrily slurps the rest of his drink. “That has to prove something at least. Maybe he was turned in the 80s. He does seem to wear a lot of vintage clothing.”
“Or he doesn’t care about his appearance. Or he’s just a big fan of the eighties. Or maybe he’s just a normal human with normal interests and not a vampire at all.” Pidge ticks off on their fingers.
“You believe in Mothman!” Lance argues.
“Yeah but I don’t think they live in my apartment complex.”
(or Lance’s neighbor is a vampire and he is determined to prove it)

Summary
Keith looked more Galra than human, and so Krolia had to take him from Earth for both his and the planet's safety. Of course, him getting taken by the Galra Empire and being forced to fight wasn't really part of the plan.
Basically, Shiro and Matt meet Keith in the arena, but done in a different way because I've read all of the others and now I'm bored so.
