Summary
Scott Goldsmith has spent centuries becoming untouchable.
Then Martyn opens Jimmy’s grave, steals the artifacts Scott buried there, and brings them close enough to Oakhurst’s beacon to wake something old, hungry, and watching.
The memories come without warning. Fear. Laughter. Blood. Death. Pearl. Cleo. Grian. Martyn. Jimmy.
The town sees Scott before the castle, before the blood, before the monster they think they know.
Avid sees him too. That turns out to be a problem.

Bookmarker's Notes
They experience Scott's memories *as him*, with breaks in between the memories. The Watchers were a "Witch" Coven, to use a familiar word (as Scott put it). Also, there was some degree of amnesia between games, only some remembering fully, more for each game. They all did by the end.
Scott and Grian didn't know the other was alive? At least until the memory thing happened, since Grian saw Scott yelling at the town and is now hunting for him (The Watchers did something to him, he is NOT a normal witch. Or a true Watcher).
Soul Resonance is not Reincarnation, but it's got enough similarities that no one is happy about it OR the lingering side effects.
My fav line so far: Pearl building a ridiculous underground clubhouse with Cleo and Scott because apparently the only reasonable response to cosmic death games was interior design.

Bookmarker's Notes
As you know, your father was adopted into the Chase Family at a young age. However, it is not your father I wish to talk about; it is your grandfather[...]14 years ago, there was a prophecy about his downfall, and in fear of his death, he went after his supposed demise: a one-year-old boy by the name of Harry Potter. He attempted to kill the boy, but his spell backfired on him, “killing” him instead.
He has returned, however, and knows about you, Annabeth. He has heard of your adventures and believes that you will be the trick to winning the war.
Go to the oracle, and hear her speak.
Your mother,
Athena.
She sat back, eyes wide as she stared at the letter. War? Another war? Seriously, what was her luck? She stood up with a tired sigh, handing the letter over to Chiron as she reluctantly made her way over to Rachel’s room.
Her knuckles rapped against the door, and the curly-haired redhead opened the door, speckles of paint splattered across her face and clothes. They both shared a look, and Rachel let out a groan of annoyance.
“Another one? What is it with you and Percy?” She opened the door more so Annabeth could come in, closing it behind the blonde once she was in the room.
“I think we’re legitimately cursed.” Annabeth deadpanned, flopping down on Rachel’s small couch. “We must have pissed off some god so much that we are just doomed for everything that goes wrong in this world.”
-
“Great power and great despair, a girl born from powerful lines. Her choice is unclear, whether she meet her end on the field of her forefathers, or bring justice and peace for countless of others.”Rachel gasped, snapping back from her mind. She winced, bringing a hand up to her forehead, rubbing it to try and appease the pain. “Gah, that one felt… weird.” She spat out, her brows furrowed in confusion.
-
Annabeth: "Dam it Grandpa! I told you! Its time to go back to the retirement home!" *dumps voldemort in tartarus.*Percy: "why do the crazy grandpa's never listen" *gently pats annabeths shoulder*
-
Percy kicked her leg, sending her a nervous look. He leaned in, eyes wide as he harshly whispered, “Are you insane? Please don’t tell me you’re actually thinking of working for him?!”“I know, I know. But, here's the thing - we’d have access to everything. He knows that this is a risk, but he’s too far up his ass to think that we’d actually have the guts to betray him!”
“So,” Percy frowned, “We pretend to work for him while actually doing the opposite?”
Annabeth grinned, the smile growing slow on her face. “Exactly.”
The two of them pulled back, staring at Voldemort. “I believe we have come to an understanding?”
“Yes,” Annabeth replied, her ‘you-fucked-up’ smile on her face, “We have.”
-
Also i wonder how the order of the phoenix would react to annabeth refering to voldemort as her 'less evil grandpa'Fr. She’s like “I mean, compared to the other one…” and they’re all like 👁️👄👁️ “w h a t?”
Annabeth: "well how should i start? His rape fetish, his beastiality fetish, his paranoia, or his constant desire to kill my boyfriend?"
Percy: "to be fair annabeth... i think alot of our extended family has me on their hitlist... then again i think that after last time, uncle H is getting a restraining order..."
-
Which, if Annabeth was being completely honest, she wasn’t really impressed with it. Sure, the new classes sounded super interesting, but because the school didn’t teach any English, Math, or Science, well… she was pretty skeptical about how good the school must be - especially since most of its students stopped receiving a proper education at age 11.Annabeth led the group, which consisted of her beautiful boyfriend, and her grandpa’s bitch. Annabeth was nothing if not a practical strategist, which is why she insisted that they shop for their school supplies at a discounted store. (they torment Lucius)
-
Child of Iris Olivander, and custom wands to let them cast spells (mostly) like wizards (Annabeth is basically DG+)
-
“So… Do you guys not have any voting?” She questioned the man.“We do, but we don’t count the votes of those with lesser blood. Of course, they don’t know that, but they fought so long for equal voting that we just gave in. It keeps mouths shut, and keeps the pure in the office.”[...]“Percy, grab the whiteboard! It’s time for me to fix things for these incompetent, dimwitted, assholes!”
-
They befriend (and train) the trio, and the Wixen are idiots for underestimating Percy. Oh, and tormenting Umbridge -

The town of Oakhurst were exploring, heading to try and bless more beacons with holy power when they fall into a whole. The Vampires had been following them the whole time and followed them down. Inside they find multiple glowing books, each labeled a number. The cave collapses behind them, leaving the town and vampires trapped. They learn that they have to watch the past of one of the Vampires so they can leave. Now they have to react to the 1200+ year old Vampire and his old Brood from before he was put into a deep sleep.
Aka - My excuse to make Vampire SMP react to the Life Series, but much more realistic and cruel
-
This is an AU, so don't expect everything to be canon lol. Also, the members of the Life Series are ALL Vampires and were a coven. However, Martyn, Pearl, and Cleo from Vampires are descendants from the ones from the Life Series, and they don't know that their ancestors were Vampires. Basically the Life Series is a cruel game to make Vampires Broods kill themselves over and over again for Hunter's entertainment.

"Scott, isn't this the crypt you had been asleep in?" She asked with a small tilt of her head. Some of the humans turned to look at him as Scott nodded."Yes, it is." Scott walked up to the books curiously and read over the names. "The Blood Moon, Bloody Seas, The Blood Harvest, Blood-ridden Skies, The Blood Filled Souls- What are with these books and blood?" Scott scoffed as he looked over the other to. "The Call for Blood and Blood Soaked Lands." Scott noticed as the humans looked uncomfortable at the names. One of the books - The Blood Moon - glowed and suddenly opened. Scott overed his eyes as the book shot towards him, engulfing him before it turned and engulfed everyone else in the room.
"Where the hell are we!" Avid screamed as they were brought into what looked like a beautiful field. It was nothing like the place that surrounded Oakhurst. The book reappeared and opened, showing floating words.
Welcome to the past. You are going to react to the Elder Vampire's past. Good luck.
Is all it said before it went up in flames, the pages burning away.
"What the fuck-"

In this AU, the turned Vampires who are more against is in Canon are more accepting of it here. This is after episode 3, so Avid and Drift are not Vampires in this. Episode 4 5 and 6 never happened in this realty. This is like 4 weeks after Episode 3.Here are the relationships between Scott and the other Vampires in my AU.
Owen: Owen trusts Scott the most out of the other vampires, simply for him being the oldest. However, he always feels like there is something Scott is hiding, a madness that Scott tries to hide behind Ego and Manipulation and his mask of Calm. Also feels like, since he's not technically Scott's fletchling, he feels like Scott will kill him.
Scott is somewhat wary of Owen, since to Scott, the two are alike in some of the worst ways. That's to say though, Scott still trusts him a lot and doesn't believe Owen would ever betray him. Sees Owen as one of his.
Pyro: Pyro looks up to Scott in an almost obsessive way. Pyro is also slightly afraid of Scott, because to Pyro, Scott is almost a godlike being that could kill him in seconds if he wanted too.
Scott sees Pyro as a baby puppy that needs to be protected and trained. He sees Pyro, not really as a wildcard, but as someone who could cause chaos without even meaning to.
Shelby: Shelby absolutely adores Scott and sees him as her best friend. Scott took her in and gave her a new family and he's like an older brother/mentor figure to her.
Scott is extremely protective of Shelby, since she reminds him of someone from his old Brood. Scott sees her as a little sister figure and would do anything, and I mean anything, to protect her.
Apo: Apo is extremely wary of Scott. Even though she finally accepted her place in the brood, she still doesn't trusts him. She can see the madness and insanity swarming in his eyes, an almost need to harm people. It scares her more than anything, because who knows when he'll turn on his own brood.
Scott is pretty neutral about Apo. Even though he's neutral about her, his Vampire senses convince him to protect her, because that is *his* fletchling and no one harms what he considers his.
Cleo: Cleo is pretty neutral on Scott. She finds him weird and creepy, but can also tell that he's carrying something dark. Something that might threaten to swallow him whole one day. She honestly fears for her new family and the towns people for when that darkness fully takes over Scott.
Scott is pretty neutral about Cleo. She is part of his brood, so he sworn to himself to protect her, but at the same time he doesn't care much for her... but she really reminds him so much of... her.

Bookmarker's Notes
After all, he’d been checking in on his little spark throughout his adventure through Scott’s lands, and the Winter King found him much more interesting. Tommy was a spitfire, one determined not to sputter out even when he starved and relied on snow to fill his empty belly. He was so determined to live. So determined to be free that his prideful determination had nearly cost his life when Scott offered sanctuary beneath his wings. But the little spark had known he wouldn’t last and accepted the offer.
Smart, determined, and an overwhelming desire to survive. Scott was very happy he’d decided to keep an eye on the little human that had stumbled into his Court.
He hadn’t constantly watched Tommy as he did have better things to do than watch some poor creature struggle. But he did check in on him, just often enough to ensure he hadn’t died. The little thing hadn’t known the true dangers of the feywild, especially Winter. Oh yes, he was very crafty. Quite resourceful and very good at surviving. But Winter had more dangers than just the faeries that lived there. There were other beings Scott had to steer away from the little spark’s path.
And hypothermia. That also was an issue, which was why Scott had touched down in the first place. He would have been content to watch Tommy scurry around his Court, gently nudging him towards the few clear brooks with flourishing winter berries for a while. But alas, hypothermia was not something one could stave off from a distance. So, Scott had to cut Tommy’s fun short and pluck up his wayward spark.
Oh, how Scott couldn’t wait to see how he flourished in a place he could thrive and not just survive.
But first, he would have to steer away the—admittedly amusing—pests at his doorstep.
Scott gave a gusty sigh that rattled the trees ominously and caused the three humans beyond his wards to shiver violently. Even their thick winter gear was not enough to stand against his gales. Scott adjusted the soft furs tucked around his sleeping spark. The boy was curled up in a nest of pillows, blankets, and furs. Scott’s wing draped over him as well, tucked against his side he was. Scott liked to lounge across his chaise, but he liked having Tommy sleeping peacefully at his side even more.
-
Scott had not wanted Tommy to immediately panic upon seeing him, so he may have impressed a bit of ‘no-fear-no-fear-no-need-to-fear-me’ into him via his Name while he’d been asleep. It wasn’t enough to erase Tommy’s fear of him when the little spark was awake, just enough to wash out the primal fear that had been ingrained in him by habit, rather than consciousness.Meanwhile, the view of Tommy was blocked from the humans by Scott’s mighty wing.
For the most part.
“No need to fret-” Scott began, tugging gently at a curl to get it to untangle, cooing at how Tommy melted against his palm, when he was rudely interrupted.
“TOMMY?!” the brunette shrieked. The masked man’s green eyes narrowed over the top of his half-mask. Scott’s smile froze, brow twitching with irritation as Tommy’s eyes flew wide. The boy froze, all sleepiness draining away as he was yanked back to reality by the yell.
-
“Burden?” Scott repeated in a low, deceptively light voice. The duo before him shuffled. “What a funny way of wording things… let me ask you a few in turn. Are you claiming you were looking out for him before he came here?”“Yes,” the brunette affirmed. “He’s my little brother.”
Hm. Not true, but not exactly a lie. A bond by choice then. Or at least, it was. But given how those words just made Tommy curl tighter into a ball, Scott doubted those words had been true for quite a while.
“Then tell me,” The Winter King whispered. The flurry outside turned to a howling blizzard as he stared down at the two shivering humans with sharp eyes. Their breaths crystallized in the freezing air. Their jaws chattered. Tommy was perfectly warm at his side. No cold would touch him again, as promised.
“Why did he run?”
The duo hesitated, clearly unprepared for questioning. Did they think they could just walk in, throw around some iron, and take away the one who was now Scott’s?
How infuriating. How insulting.
“He was acting out,” the masked man said smoothly. “That's why we’re watching him. He needs help to learn what is and is not okay. He just needs to learn that just because he doesn’t like a lesson doesn’t mean it’s not necessary.” The next words were clearly aimed at Scott’s little spark, given how Tommy flinched at the condescending words. “We’re the only ones who care enough to help him be better. Isn’t that right, Tommy?”
