Inspired almost entirely by that escape pod scene in Survivor – there’s absolutely no way Cal escaped injury crashing on Bracca, right? He’s small enough that he probably didn’t fit the safety restraints properly, and that’s even if he remembered to try and strap in after the trauma of his friends trying to kill him and his master dying in front of him.
So.
In this universe, Cal wakes up on Bracca with a broken wrist, a head injury, and a big blank where his memory should be. The only thing he remembers? “Trust only in the Force.”

Summary
When the Death Star is completed and the Jedi are either dead or so far in hiding they will never be found, Sidious decides that the Inquisitors are entirely unneccessary and a liability now that they have outlived their usefulness. The Fortress Inquisitorius on Nur is a very floodable building.
Fortunately, the Second Sister, having grown distrusting of the Empire after Vader nearly killed her, was prepared for this and took the Inquisitors who were willing and escaped to join the Rebellion.
Bail Organa knows nothing of any of this when an Imperial ship requests a landing pad at the very secret Rebellion base, but he has a feeling that this will be one crazy day for him.

Satine moved to scroll to the next image when a familiar soft brown caught her eye. She furrowed her brow as she squinted at the screen, trying to zoom in.
It was pixelated and unfocused, but she knew that it was Obi-Wan. She recognised that awful beard. He was smiling at someone, utterly delighted, the corners of his eyes crinkled in happiness. The person he was looking at was obscured but Satine could just about see his fingers twined with someone else’s.
Satine knew that smile. She only ever used to see it looking at her.
Surprising herself, she didn’t feel anything other than fondness. She felt joy. All-consuming joy.
