Summary
Albedo, chronic workaholic grad student, by sheer bad luck lives next to the most obnoxiously omnipresent neighbor of all time. The worst part is he's hot.
Albedo is not one to fall for smooth talking, but Kaeya Alberich slips through the cracks anyway, and suddenly they're passionate lovers by night but complete strangers by day. This should be fine. Summary
Kaeya Alberich, one of the richest men in Teyvat, spoils his business partner like no one else, and Albedo accepts this as an odd quirk. It's difficult to turn down the temptation of being pampered by the most fantastical character in the country after all.
For Kaeya, it's all going to plan. He gets to cherish the one he admires with lavish date nights and intimate encounters, but he doesn't have to risk his own heart. So long as Albedo indulges in the fantasy, he can live vicariously through his facade, even if it does make his heart ache at the end of the night.

Albedo couldn’t understand why this man was not more panicked.
“Why not?”
Kaeya looked at him with his customary smile, but the words that left him were far from the answer Albedo had been expecting. “I doubt that a small amount of some alchemical serum is going to be able to coerce me, of all people, into saying anything I do not wish to say.”
Albedo blinked, the smile slipped off Kaeya’s face and they sat across from one another in shocked silence. Truly Albedo had not doubted the serum’s effectiveness, his science was rarely wrong, but seeing it manifest… in Kaeya of all people. Archons, he needed to start saying no when the knights asked him for these sorts of things.

Albedo is well aware that he does not seem like a particularly worldly man. He does not join his fellow knights for drinks, nor does he appear to be the kind of man interested in carnal pursuits, and he is fine with this, since it serves his current purposes. However, when a few knights invite him out for drinks at a bar-brothel combo, he takes great pleasure in disabusing them of this notion in the most amusing way possible--for him, at least.
Now. That's all well and good, but. Is that Cavalry Captain Kaeya? As part of the entertainment? Oh dear.

It comes out that the original intent in Albedo’s creation was less to be a lab assistant and more to be… well, a rather complex sex doll. It follows, he thinks, that he doesn’t have the ability to feel true desire in the same way that his lover does, but that he’s happy to provide it. After all, intimacy is its own reward, and Kaeya seems happy…
It’s just... more difficult with Kaeya. When Kaeya fucks him, something builds in a way that it never did with Gold, something that leaves Albedo wet and aching even after they’re done, and he never gets to find out what it is—not when Kaeya finishes, and cleans him up with tender touches, and listens with excruciating care to Albedo, with a sadistic gleam in his eye, when he says that he doesn’t have the capacity to want.
