Ten years ago, Choso caught his father beating his little brother. Blinded by anger, he attacked his old man and beat him to death. The act landed him in jail, where he met the infamous yakuza named Sukuna, who took a shine to him.
Now, thinking that his life is back on track, Choso meets again with the lawyer who was supposed to keep him out of jail, Higuruma Hiromi. The man shows up with bad news; Sukuna is up for parole in a few months, and Choso’s testimony might be the only thing that can keep him behind bars. Choso reluctantly agrees to testify against Sukuna despite the risks to his and Yuuji’s lives. Forced to move to another city for protection, he finds common ground with Higuruma and feelings soon get involved.
